Funding Support for Audiovisual Projects for 2027
As of 1 October 2026, a new call under the Terra Incognita programme supporting audiovisual production is open. The Košice Self-Governing Region, in cooperation with Košice Region Tourism and the Košice Region Film Office has allocated a total of €80,000 to support audiovisual projects in 2027.
The call is intended to support the production and development of audiovisual projects that contribute to promoting the Košice Region as an attractive filming destination, as well as to the development of the regional audiovisual industry. Projects whose story is set in the Košice Region or which are filmed within the region may be supported. Of the total allocation, €60,000 is intended for the production of audiovisual projects and €20,000 for their development.
Applications may be submitted until 16 November 2026.
Supported audiovisual projects must be filmed in the Košice Region no later than 31 October 2027.
