Košice Region Film Office

KOŠICE REGION FILM OFFICE serves as the first contact point for filmmakers to look into options and conditions on filming in the Košice region. Our goal is to develop the regional audiovisual industry and present the region as a film friendly region. The film office offers opportunities for local film-profesionals and vendors in incoming productions and promote the region through these projects.

Our activities aim to attract film productions to carry out their projects in the Košice region in order to trigger positive effects in the economic, medial and film touristic sense. Furthermore, those cinematic inputs achieve an increase in publicity and popularity of the region.

Košice region film office was created the Košice Self-governing Region as part of the programme “Košice region – Film friendly region”.

Funding support for audiovisual projects

Financial support of up to 50,000 euros can be obtained by producers of audiovisual works who plan their production in the Košice region. The call is open until November 30, 2022.
